Who we are

UK Huadzan Amitabha College is the official UK foundation of the Taiwan Hwadzan Pure Land Association, dedicated to upholding and promoting the profound teachings of the Buddha and the timeless values of sincerity, purity, equality, right understanding, and compassion.

In alignment with Hwadzan’s mission, we are committed to:

• Propagating the Dharma - Organising lectures, seminars, and retreats that convey authentic Buddhist wisdom, guiding people towards inner peace, ethical living, and spiritual awakening

• Preserving and Promoting Culture - Curating exhibitions and cultural programs that share the heritage of Buddhist art, literature, and traditions, fostering respect and understanding among diverse communities

• Encouraging International Exchange - Serving as a bridge between East and West, we create opportunities for dialogue, learning, and cooperation in the pursuit of global harmony and world peace
